Directions From I-8 (Downtown San Diego)
Go east on I-8 from San Diego about 40 miles. One mile past Pine Valley, exit at Sunrise Highway (S-1). Head north on S-1 to the Laguna Mountain Recreation Area.
Course Setter's Notes Courses are set with minimum climb so that you can run the whole course at high speed. (You can definitely keep your rock climbing equipment at home.) Do not be misled by name Long and Short. Both courses are pretty short and I expect the winning time on the long to be well below 40 minutes.

Registration will be set near the parking area, there will be about 600 meters walk to the start and about 200 meters from the finish.

At this moment vegetation is low, there are not many stickers and seeds, grass is low, and so are the roses. Runners on beginner courses should not encounter any of them. On advanced courses you will see two patches of roses. Both of them could be easily avoided, and the lower one could be even crossed safely. When I test run the course, I did so without gaiters and did not get scratched.

Given the short distance and having no volunteers, there will be probably no water on the advanced course. Please carry your own, if needed. (There will be a water control on White and Yellow courses.)
