Running and biking in Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP) is allowed only on clearly marked trails.
For that reason the navigational part is more or less the same for all courses. However, the physical
difficulty of the courses is very different and should be the deciding factor for choosing your
right course. Steep Short course (2.5 km) features some nice views and is recommended not only
for newcomers but also for everybody who desires a short run that can be done without carrying water.
The Long course covers a large section of MTRP and should be considered by all good runners.
As there is no water on the course, it is strongly recommended to carry your drinking water on a
sunny day. Short and Long courses do not overlap and could be combined. 90 min Score-O is the ultimate
running challenge and should be chosen only by those most physically gifted. It is required that
you carry your water on Score-O. All controls from Short and Long courses are included in the Score-O,
therefore you cannot combine Score-O with the other running courses.
However after the Score-O there is one more treat for adventurers: 60 min Bike Score-O.
See notes in Courses below to view possible course combinations.
If you plan to do both Score-O & Bike-O and are starting late, we recommend doing the Bike-O first since
start cut-off time is 12-noon.
Whatever course you run or bike, enjoy the green Mission Trails park in its best season!
