San Dieguito County Park Print  |  Close Window Join us for a middle distance race at San Dieguito County Park Date: Saturday, April 18th, 2009 Location: San Dieguito County Park in Solana Beach Note: This is NOT the San Dieguito River Park that runs by Lake Hodges in Escondido Time: 9:30 am - Registration begins 10:00 am - 12 noon Starts 1:00 pm - Courses close Courses: - White: 1.8 km, climb 75 m, 9 controls - Orange: 2.7 km, climb 120 m, 10 controls - Red: 3.7 km, climb 175 m, 11 controls ** Time limit for all courses - 150 minutes (2.5 hours) ** Electronic punching will be used for all courses Donation: $5.00 Member (individual/groups) - 1 map, 1 course $8.00 Non-Members (individuals/groups) - 1 map, 1 course E-Stick Rental $3.00 each Additional Map $2.00 each Compass Rental $1.00 each Registration: Pre-register online by Thursday, Apr. 16 at 5 PM. Register online or day of event. Directions: From I-5, exit on Lomas Santa Fe and head east. Make a left on Highland Drive, go straight until you intersect with El Camino Real. The start is approx. 50 yards south of from the intersection of Highland Drive and El Camino Real, just inside the bottom entrance. Park along El Camino Real. Note: If you don't want to pay for parking, you can park your car just before the entrance to the park. Start will be visible from the park gate.
